Ubuntu United Nations
(2021 – 2024)
Project Number: 2021-1-PT02-KA220-YOU-000029235
In the 'Ubuntu United Nations project, we designed and developed the 'Ubuntu Digital Network.' We aim to create a comprehensive platform as a central hub for the Ubuntu United Nations (UUN) initiative. This platform would house all relevant information about the project and provide essential resources such as the Training Manual, interactive pedagogical tools, session plans, and video tutorials on the Ubuntu Method.
The outcome we delivered was a multifaceted digital ecosystem that facilitates communication, capacity building, and collaboration among UUN participants worldwide. This platform allows users to connect based on shared Ubuntu values and project interests, track their progress through the initiative, and engage with various multimedia resources to enhance their learning experience. Additionally, the platform includes a social network feature, enabling participants to create profiles, interact with one another, and collaboratively work on transformative projects. Overall, the "Ubuntu Digital Network" is a strategic and essential tool for monitoring the project's impact, replicating its success, and fostering a global community of Ubuntu-minded individuals.
The Ubuntu United Nations project was recognized with the Erasmus+ award for good practices in the context of Partnerships for Cooperation, within the priority of Inclusion and Diversity. The award was promoted by the two Portuguese agencies: National Agency for the Management of the Erasmus+ Education and Training Program and Erasmus+ Youth/Sport and European Solidarity Corps.
